CNN Likes to Make Me Mad

Every time I go to CNN.com it tells me the local weather. Except, for whatever reason, it keeps telling me that I live in North Carolina and it's currently 58 degrees out.

I hate you CNN. It got up to 40 here yesterday and I almost went out in shorts I was so excited.

Seriously though CNN, stop taunting me. Dicks.

10 comments about my weirdness:

  1. Why does CNN think you live in North Carolina? And if 40 degrees feels like summer to you, you need to think about moving there. I had a boyfriend once who wanted me to get married and move with him to Cleveland, OH. I laughed at him. Tennessee has seasons, and almost no snow. The amount of snow we get here, if averaged out, equals one of your summers. Seriously.

  2. You know, that's where I fantasize about living (like four years from now). So keep track of the weather for me so you'll know what to expect when you come to visit! I wonder if you have any readers in North Carolina? 'Fess up.

  3. if it makes you feel any better, my CNN location is atlanta, GA where it is currently 50 degrees out... except im not in GA, im in the chicago area and its actually... 32 degrees out

also, whenever i go to any website to check movie times, no matter what computer i use, it always tells me what time the movies are playing in theaters in and around LA, California... not even close.

  6. OH ALL OF OHIO IS TERRIBLE. Ok Cleavland is pretty ok, but seriously, every time a snow storm hits the midwest/eat coast, Ohio gets BOTH FRONTS.

I guess what I am missing is spring and fall. It is either 18 degrees and a negative something wind chill or it's 92 with rolling brownouts. I joke with Eric that someday I will move to like Arkansas just so I can be warm and remember what spring looks like.

  7. Chapel Hill is EXACTLY where I want to be (the city in North Carolina, NOT the cemetery down the street, thank you very much!) You should check it out!

  9. Do you know the stand up comic daniel tosh?

He has a joke that's something along the lines of ... "people say they don't want to live in southern California because they won't have the seasons. That's fine. I like it because I want to skip the bad seasons."

Bleh. I butchered his line. But anyway ... california is fantastic for weather and I'm dreading houston this summer (I'm now living in houston ... so your 'google' fan is gone! Now I'm houstonite.)
