Once, I got approached about writing a term paper for someone to attended Oral Roberts University.
I just could not do it. I have no explanation for why I couldn't. I don't exactly share Oral's view on Christianity, or Jesus even, and given the chance, I would give him one helluva piece of my mind.
But all the same - I just couldn't do it.
PS Is anyone else surprised I didn't make an Oral joke? I know I am!
It would have been an easy paper to do. All that would be necessary to make a good paper would be to harp on gays because they are choosing their life style, unwed mothers because they are sinners by not keeping their legs closed, abortion is the tool of Satan and the Democrats, that the devil is everywhere and you alone have the power to save them from themselves. Then attach a website that would allow the faithful to send money, go on TV and cry how this is God's will and and redeem them via the airwaves-media-web.
