Those were boos alright. Cheering would have been much louder and in sync with each other. The announcer would have to ask the audience to quiet down to make the announcements otherwise.

I was there - I'm a season ticket holder in Section 107. Believe me, it was about 70 % BOOOS. As jimbob stated, the loudest music of the night was played when she walked out to center ice. There are a few youtube videos that capture the fans booing really loud, but if you're simply going by the feed off of the LIVE TV broadcast, it doesn't sound nearly as bad as it actually was.
I almost lost my voice from the 2 minutes of BOOOING before the game even started. lol.
Oh yeah - did anyone notice how she cursed the teams she dropped pucks for? Dropped the Puck at the Flyers opener, and they lost 4 or 5 straight - then they get their first win of the season the night she dropped the puck in another city (St. Louis). The curse was lifted from Philadelphia and switched to St. Louis for one night, where the Blues sang the Blues with their 4-0 loss that night and their starting goalie tripped over the red carpet that was rolled out for her and is out of the lineup for a month or two! LMAO...if that's not a curse, then I don't know what is.
